A ONE and a HALF DAY course

This internationally accredited program teaches participants skills to recognise the early signs of mental illness and how to provide initial help to adults developing a mental disorder or in a mental health crisis situation. The course increases knowledge, reduces stigma, increases supportive actions and even improves the mental health of first aiders.

This program meets the new QCPP requirements; at least one member of staff in the pharmacy must hold a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training certificate. This can be either the pharmacist and/or front line pharmacy staff.
